What is the Gro Via One Size Diapering System?

The Gro Via (formerly Gro Baby) One Size Diapering system allows you to use the outer shell for multiple diaper changes while only changing the snap in soaker pad. If the outer shell is wet, simply let it air dry until the next diaper change. If the Gro Via outer shell is soiled or saturated, start fresh with a new Gro Baby shell. It is that simple!

How many Gro Via Shells and Gro Via Soakers will I need?

Gro Via tiny baby Most Gro Via One Size Hybrid Diapering users find that 2-4 shells per day is enough. However, newborns will need a few more Gro Via shells each day.

Newborns will typically need to be changed every 1-2 hours which will equate to using approximately 12-18 Gro Via soakers per day. As your little one gets older, they will be able to go a bit longer in between diaper changes. For example, a 12-month-old average wetter will likely need 8 Gro Via Soakers per day.

How exactly does the Gro Via One Size Diapering system work?

Gro Via One Size Hybrid Diapers will fit MOST babies from approximately 8-35 lbs. The Gro Via shell Gro Via siblings features three sets of rise snaps that adjust to fit your baby in the small, medium and large settings. The unique one size Gro Via organic soaker pad fits from 8-35 lbs as well.

1. Newborn/Small Infant Gro Via Setting: Snap your Gro Via shell rise snaps to the lowest setting. Snap your Gro Via soaker pad into the shell and simply flip the front of the soaker pad in towards the baby. Fasten your Gro Via diaper.

2. Infant Medium Gro Via Setting: Snap your Gro Via shell rise snaps to the middle setting. Snap your Gro Via soaker pad into the shell. Tuck the front of your Gro Via soaker pad down, while pulling the front panel up and fasten your Gro Via diaper on your baby.

3. Toddler Gro Via Setting: Leave your Gro Via shell rise snaps unsnapped. Snap your soaker pad into the shell and fasten the Gro Via diaper on your baby.

Washing Intructions:

Organic cotton Gro Via soaker must be washed and dried on hot at least THREE times before first use. They may not reach full absorbancy until 6-8 washes

Remove as much solid matter as possible
Tuck under laundry tabs on the Gro Via shell
Place in dry diaper pail
Wash every 2 days on warm with detergent
Hang dry shells to avoid excessive wear
Tumble dry soaker pads and boosters
Do not use bleach, enzyme cleaners or fabric softeners
